Deciding to go to the extreme with your fitness workout is an investment.  Consideration of the extreme fitness workout should include the activities, accessories, apparel and supplements needed to keep you feeling great and using your body to its potential.  An good extreme fitness training will include a measure of each of the areas just mentioned and therefore should be planned into the undertaking of your fitness venture.  We will take a look at the approximate cost of each of these areas.

What you wear is important when doing an extreme fitness program.  Extreme fitness is defined as an activity that causes you to be at 80% of your heart rate for MOST of the activity.  Because of this fact, the apparel that you wear during the activity becomes important to allow for your comfort and health.  Most extreme fitness activities will require a good pair of “sports” shirts and shorts. This means that it is time to stop wearing your high school t-shirt and shorts, and take a trip to the “sporting apparel” area in your favorite department store or even better go TO a specialty sports store. Good sporting shirts begin at $10 and go up from there, the same goes for shirts and socks.  By far your greatest investment over time will be what you wear on your feet.  Because your feet bears most of your weight and is used in almost EVERY extreme fitness workout, they are considered THE most important investment.  A good shoe that should be worn typically costs from $50-200+.

The other consideration is your accessories. Accessories are your pull-up bars or push up accessories, we even consider your heart rate monitor a great accessory as you invest more in your extreme fitness workout. The cost of a good push-up or pull-up bar(or even a combo) may run you from $50-100, however it will be well worth it because of the strength benefit to your body.  However, the biggest investment in your accessories will be your heart rate monitor because it is very important in tracking not just your heart, but how LONG it was in the 80%(maximum heart rate) zone.  This is important to note not just for knowledge, BUT also to know IF you are really doing an extreme fitness workout, or just regular exercise.

The last thing that should be considered is supplements.  It has been proven that people who use supplements have at least a 30% improvement of performance, or even weight loss.  The biggest investment will be in the type of shake or bars that are consumed because it helps in aiding your body in proper eating and overall health.  A healthy shake typically can be from $50-100 per month for a supply. The investment of extreme fitness training will have a cost, not just related to the physical sacrifice.  An extreme fitness workout investment should also be taken ONE THING at a TIME.  It is not recommended that EVERYTHING is purchased ALL AT ONE TIME.  Of course, if you can afford to, then do so, but because your body and need for each area changes, it is recommended that each investment in your extreme fitness be purchased on an as-needed-basis.  Deciding to go to the extreme IS an important investment to consider, but the result of greater physical ability and mental clarity
results will be worth it.
