Dr. Goor’s book, called Choose to Lose, stresses that one should limit his fat intake and he should only be able to consume based on his “fat” budget for that day. Contrary to Dr. Atkins’, he does not put too much pressure on carbohydrate intake.

There are also many other several diets that give different recommendations to people. Some of them would recommend to lessen on the calorie intake, to eat more vegetable and less on fat and to check on the blood type first before embarking on a weight loss program.
