The rules of the body cleaning diet:

This is a detox diet that can help your digestive system wake-up. For each of the 21 days you get to eat 2 meals consisting only of liquids, namely, breakfast and dinner. Lunch will be composed of something more substantial.

Breakfast and dinner: The two liquid meals can be consumed. You can eat diet shakes or fresh fruit juices and vegetables or soups (recommended for dinner).

For lunch you have more options

At lunch you can eat different dishes made from lean meat (chicken, lamb, turkey, duck) or fish plus different vegetables. Here are some simple eating tips to help you get the most out of this diet:

- This diet gives the digestive system at least 12 hours between dinner and breakfast (the next day); toxins are removed more efficiently this way.

- You avoid processed foods

- Buy organic products

- Consume nutrient-rich foods (fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds)

- Use food supplements (vitamins and minerals)

- Stay at least 15 minutes a day outside in the sun. Light increases vitamin D levels and protects you from diseases like cancer or depression

- Include detoxification activities in your program: take a sauna, massage, peeling of your skin and you can even combine this diet with another detox diet like the lemon detox diet

- Meditate (even 5 minutes per day is good)
